After an eight year drought, AC/DC is heading into the studio to record a new album, beginning on March 1^st, just a week away! 

The rumors were recently confirmed by AC/DC bassist Cliff Williams in an interview with Spinner.com.

AC/DC’s last album, Stiff Upper Lip, was released in 2000. Williams said the biggest rush from the that album’s tour was seeing parents coming to the concerts together with their grown and teenage children, seeing that the bands music was able to cross the generations like that.

When asked about a supporting tour Williams said: "If we go out again or when we go out again, you just never know. We've been around a long time, so we're going to get together and get in the studio and I fully expect we will (tour). I don't mean to be so negative about that."

Negativity or not, who cares, there’s a legion of AC/DC fans excited about the news that there’s plenty of positive energy for everyone Cliff!

Beloved Entertainer Don Ho Dies of Heart Failure

Although he had several classic love songs, Don Ho would gain his recognition as a timeless crooner with a funny little ditty called “Tiny Bubbles”. The song would take the singer by surprise because of its instant popularity, catapulting his career into the mainstream music scene of the early 1970s.

 

Don was originally an athlete, earning sports scholarships for Springfield College in Massachusetts, and later his hometown campus of The University of Hawaii in 1953.

 

After school Don’s next calling was inspired by the American service men of World War II which he idolized. Ho was soon enlisted as a member of the U.S. Air Force and served a tour of duty in the Korean War.

American Idol Gina Glocksen Defends Sanjaya Malakar?

Gina Glocksen, the third finalist booted out from the American Idol, had discovered that the media is interested more about Sanjaya Malakar than her own experience on the show. Gina Glocksen, however, answered several questions about Sanjaya and, being his friend, she defended him.

When asked if it is difficult for them to know if Sanjaya placed higher among the bottom three? Glocksen said it's quiet tough the the eight finalists made it and she did not. She also added that Sanjaya Malakar is different, meaning that every finalist is unique in his or her own way. Sanjaya is Sanjaya, Jordin is Jordin, Chris is Chris and Blake is Blake, she explained. But for her, America is done with her and she's fine with it.
